  1. Welcome. Nice that you are here.
  2. In a WSM Always leave top vent fully open. Set the bottom vents at the start with a pencil in a bottom vent the repeat with each bottom vent and see what temp that is. That way vents are consistent base every time and adjust relects local conditions on the day ie wind Sun etc.
  3. Bbq challenge dish recipe. Something anyone can try and post. For instance cornbread or cake. Anything rwally. And then put the variations in the nect newsletter to give continuity between issues Best of sous vide section Cold smoking and curing review of what everyone has been doing over the winter.
  4. Fair point, There rolls and bread are excellent. And cheeses are varied and good value
  5. Note also the weight of the real thing made form sheet steel it is thicker the most of the freebies. All the freebies I have seen I do not think will last a long time with the high heats it creates. Pro Q do a version as well 25 quid

  7. I bought the real thing years ago, it is still strong and unblemished as ever, the conical pyramid shape can be inverted to sear etc etc, loads of options form the shape of it. I appreciate the freebie mode but they are not as versatile. The narrow end top sends the heat up to the lid and back down so in effect it is bit like a fan oven in that it works from convection

I wet with ground nut oil. Then salt and spices stick. Yummy

  12. We have a sexy brother one. No problem with moving back stitches etc. I use a company called swiftart to digitise and then I make the badges. I can personalise them on the machine which has a touchscreen
