  2. It has to be the mini kamado for favourite...and at the moment is the one that I'm using the most. Ice.
  3. I love to surf Youtube, there's a load of great stuff on there, but also a load of crap. πŸ˜„ I do like my music and over time have found loads of music that I've forgotten about... now I happened on an old Fun Boy Three song, that I thought "that just about sums up where we are at the moment" world wise that is. Just a laugh that's all...🀣🀣 Ice.
  4. 8 bits of kit for us....the next question should be which is your favourite? and which do you use the most? πŸ€” Ice.. 😎

    Howdy!

Morning Seth, and welcome to the forum. Take a good look around and if you have any questions just ask away. Ice.
  6. The wife has one, we see @Smokin Monkey using his at Woodsmoke 18, and curries and chillies are what it's used for. Ice.
  7. No worries mate...fitting a tailgate into the year is a little daunting and formidable. The big one, "Woodsmoke" attracts the biggest attendance, there is the Anglia and South East Tailgate, and the Northern Tailgate....the Midland one was cancelled. There's a few of us in the West Midland club section kicking around an idea for a Meet & Greet type of weekend maybe next year some time. We're trying to encourage the smaller area parts of the forum. Keep it small and easy to set up, not everyone can find the time to travel long distances up and down the UK for 1 maybe 2 nights. When it comes to the comp side we never get into that..(at the moment πŸ˜‰) just meet up, set up cook whatever we want, all aim for 1700hrs, dish up and eat, drink & chew the fat. Ice.
  8. That's another reason folks should not use it to wash their cars, if there's a stone chip and you don't rinse well the same happens. Ice.
  9. 🀣🀣 never thought of it like that .....this was the reason for my OP we had feet & inchs, lbs & ounces, at school.....then we had to go metric because of the common market. Now they say if we get Brexit we may go back to imperial.........🀬 Ice.
  10. Morning Nevada...have you read the "Woodsmoke18 & 19" threads yet mate?? https://www.woodsmokeforum.uk/forum/125-smoking-and-bbq-weekend/ It's basically what you're thinking about, we meet up at a campsite which allows group meetings. Set up a gazebo or two and prep, cook and then set all the food out and sit down and eat. The next one is in a few weeks at the Ice.
  11. Just had a look and it's now saying up to 70% off most stock...https://www.homebase.co.uk/clearance The Makita power tools section....😰 if only, and I've just bought a new cordless drill as well.🀬 Ice.
  12. You've hit the nail right on the head J......welcome to the forum, having a guy with your experience on the Kentucky offset is great. Ice.
  13. 10-Rog on that boyo... Ice.
  14. Popped into our local one yesterday for a couple of bits and they have a 30% of loads of BBQ tools....I picked up a large set of tongs Β£6 knocked down to Β£1.60. Also the charcoal/briquettes prices are all cut....https://www.homebase.co.uk/our-range/garden-and-outdoor/barbecues-and-outdoor-heating/bbqs/bbq-fuel/charcoal https://www.homebase.co.uk/our-range/garden-and-outdoor/barbecues-and-outdoor-heating/bbqs/bbq-accessories/bbq-tools Just found this...missed that yesterday...https://www.homebase.co.uk/bbq-buddy-rotisserie-battery-motor_p406117 Ice
  15. That should work ok...by the looks of it you will have to file/grind the bottom lug down to fit thou?? Ice.
  16. Looks like they used pop rivits at one time then?? how many rivets in the bottom brackets?? if it's two, what you maybe able to do is drill them out and use SS bolts in place of,?? Ice.
  17. How's this for service....πŸ˜‰ The bottom bit is 15mm across and it's 5mm thick. Ice.
  18. When we moved back in Feb the Jumbuck some how got seperated from the motor.....I only found it last week still in one of the boxes that is stored in the back bedroom. This kebab is on the "must do" list, great video Steve, thanks for taking the time... Ice.
  19. If you remember Steve when we fitted the fire tape to yours and you said about the doors, when we took a closer look at the hinges they were pop rivets.....are the brackets the same??? Ice.
  20. Just what we need in Aug ☹️ Ice.
  21. Turned out ok...Stilton was better and you only have to wait 12 weeks....I'm looking at starting again now the kitchen is 98% finished. Will have to wait until after our holls... Ice.
  22. Don't let Sue find out mate.....πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆπŸ™ŠπŸ™‰ Ice.
  23. Yours turn out better than the ones in the photo on the site...thing is Paul Hollywood lost his crumpet didn't he?? 🀣 Ice
  24. So far so good with what I've had, must admit I do feel the bag like @Smokin Monkey suggested, the last bag has had very large in it, too big to use on the mini Kamado to be honest..πŸ˜„ Unless you go to a local charcoal producer, we have one somewhere near Oxford, that would be great to see it being cooked and maybe try?? maybe next year we have too much on what's left of this one. πŸ˜„ See from your map where you are, we're down that way at the end of this month, having some well earned R&R then finishing up near Atherington on a KCBS weekend . https://quietwatersfarm.co.uk/news/ Ice.
