  1. I'm wondering about this 10% code that Ian has posted, if to buy a plancha??? or not as we love our fish (sea Bass) will take a look. Ice.
  2. Thanks a bundle Ian, I'm sure I'll find something....😄 now where do we start??....... Ice.
  3. Good thinking Steve, I wish I'd have had the chance 4 years ago, I may not have gone for the offset after all...😄 Ice.
  4. Just thought if you do decide on a ProQ go straight to Proq @Mack https://www.macsbbq.com/ If they have one in stock it'll only take a couple of days for delivery.. Ice.
  5. Well done Murphy I've just had a box of mixed from one of the forum sponsors..Smokewood Shack...I went for the 5 x 1.5kg nets of different woods. https://www.smokewoodshack.com/product-page/5-x-1-5-kg-bags-of-chunks James is great with any Q's you may have he even rang me to check on my address for delivery. Any problems give me a shout we're down in Warwick. Ice.
  6. Seen the odd TV chefs do squirrel, can't say I'd fancy it....we have doz of the little buggers all over the place, they love the big Beech tree in the Rectory garden, they love the nuts. Did search about the nuts if we can use them?? quote..." they contain the toxin saponin glycoside, which can cause gastric issues if you eat a large quantity of raw beechnuts" so thought I'd give them a miss. 🤔 Ice.
  7. Tesco got a rollocking the other week from some national hygiene body about their chicken, they came out the bottom of a list...I'd go for local butchers if you can't use Bookers. Ice.
  8. I did a test yesterday on the probes from the SF and also my Inkbird just to see what (if any) difference there may be?? I did a small video which I may upload to the tube later, with a small pan of water on the hob, I placed all of the probes in..it came up to a rolling boil and the results were...all of the probes were within 1c....(one did drop 2c just has I took the photo there's always one 😄) Ice.
  9. The Proq Frontier can handle that, they quote.." Easily catering for up to 12 hungry people," another big thing to take into consideration is size, I have an offset and believe me they do take up a lot more room than a bullet. You ask about uping your money, £300 will buy a top market bullet. Ditto as well with.. @hoogl I'm cooking ribs today, and they will do for tomorrow as well. Ice.
  10. Hi Murphy & welcome... Have you read the thread about the Landmann Kentucky??? it seems that this price range for offset smokers do (sometimes) need TLC and a mod or two. What is it about an offset?? what do you want too cook, using a bullet smoker there's no need to "disturb" if you need to top up fuel, and if you start off with enough fuel in the basket should see you finish a cook?. Ice.
  11. You will bring it to Billing no doubt?? 🤣🤣 Ice.
  12. Agree 100% Steve...you can pause a video and take a good look at what the person is doing.... PM sent. Ice.
  13. Seen this one only t'other week after I'd ordered one. There's not a lot of videos on the SF......so anything anyone does is a great help. Ice.
  14. Will do..just checked with Parcel post they've given me a delivery date of 8 weeks??? is that ok for you @hoogl 😎😄 Ice.
  15. That is well worth knowing, we have a block of smoked in the fridge at the moment great to know it's safe. Ice.
  16. I thought it may only be mine that is out??? Ice.
  17. Lordy lordy lordy........ain't that the truth brother....😎🤣 Ice.
  18. That's what I'll have to do between the SF v Inkbird as I had a difference I'd like to know what's what?? Ice.

Your local butcher maybe able to help if the Bookers link is no good for you???. Hope this helps. Ice.
  21. I'd just tell her...mind you I'm an idiot... 🤣 Ice.
  22. Looking good for the W Midlands.....the more the merrier. Ice.
  23. Cheers Phil.. with help from @sotv and yourself I'll sort it. When I powered up first time i entered the password for my BT wifi and it all went through ok, as far has I can tell?? Now with the colour codes I can watch out for that....it was cyan to start...most of the time I only see f-green.....so with Steve's photo's and your info I can't wait to have another go....just thinking I did take the SF outside by the garage and powered up and just took it for granted everything was ok. maybe it didn't log on to the hub??? Ice.
  24. No Steve, it's all new, I'm learning as I go....as you do with a new toy... ok photo 1....it shows all the same, but no signal. photo 5 is what I had when I turned it off. I will sit down and start at the beginning later on and use these photos as a guide...we'll sort it between all of us.... cheers mate. Ice.
  25. This is what was showing...so I thought it was not running the SF, but I must admit it did show the temp???. I cook out by the garage which is about 30' from the wifi hub, but sat indoors by the hub it still looked to me like it was not connected. I had it plugged into the power pack and the fan was on, even thou I had the fan showing off on the app?? Work today so will take more time later on to sit and sort it out...it could be me mind you. 🤔 From what I remember it showed nothing??? another point to check out later?? Ice.
