  1. A big welcome I hope to the Filipino lady in background of last photo. I had a good chat with her and he partner, hopefully she will join the forum and introduce herself and her Filipino cooking skills. Nice photos Ice.
  2. Fully agree. Best time I have for a while. So glad to meet so many like m8nded and inspiring people. It was real pleasure to cook with you guys and gals. Delicious food. Comfortable relaxing. Refreshing.. Roll on northern tailgate. Really hope to see more new people there for a good time....i rediscovered cider too. Thank you!
  3. Car loaded, cold box jammed full, larder box in car. Ready . Leaving 1.30
  4. Phew M11 open again after lorry fire last night. 2 hours journey so leaving here about 1.30
  5. Chicken thighs in curry marinade, last few ingredients to get, otherwise ready to go. Cafetiere is in the car for coffee lovers... Exciting

  8. Sorted my castors and dolly sortedout, got some nice H&S UK castors on it, will bring to weekend so you can see. Got some trimming to do to tidy up the metal but it looks ok.
  9. Ok I have decided to have bone out of shoulder so I can cut it in half and put on both racks. Prefer with bone but space....blade end so upper shoulder, 3.5 to 4kg, picking up tomorrow, have checked. Thanks for the advice
  10. And if anyone has oak wood or hickory woods chips please may I steal a few to smoke some artichokes and peppers, I only have chunks
  11. Please will some brings some big King Edward potatoes? For hasselback potatoes with garlic butter and Parmesan. 10 should be enough to share out a little of each out. I will bring the other ingredients.

I will fit that in though together with coffee and coffee grinder. Ingredients turning up tonight, picking up pork it the morning.
  13. I will aim for similar time, but first day of school Holiday tomorrow, who knows what the roads will be like. I fancy your timing as might be ahead of the worst of that. My bivvy is easy peasy to put up. You fellas are going to laugh at how small it is. I do have a 4 person tent but can not be bothered with that for this Gazebo, nice.
