    Sorry i rarely look at fb, i use the forum. Suggest this i posted in the events thread. If you want we can make some embroidered badges too. Can be sewn onto aprons to mark the occasion. I have the facility to do that. maybe 3 each would cover the costs. @Smokin Monkey

    Welcome aboard. Great of you to join us. I have just sliced up smoked bacon and I have smoked salmon sliced up too. Cheese smoked and mellowing in fridge. Pork loin curing in fridge is latest experiment. All inspired by this forum. Enjoy.

    Thank you mate. It has been in for a day, wrapped in clingfilm. 3 days to go. I take the point on only slice t what you need and if more people in the house ate it but it is only for me.. but I am going to freeze it it will give me more flexibility.

    Happily smoked away for 12 hours through to 11 this morning. Triple wrapped in clingfilm and on fridge again. @Wade how long should I leave this before slicing and freezing.

    If you can make any f the tailgates that we organise as they are really inspirational stuff as I have been to two and learnt stacks. My confidence has gone up and up. Loving the learning curves.
