  1. Looks amazing that 😍 I used this rub on some pork loin steaks last weekend, really good stuff. I got it in this months A&O monthly box offer, came with the Italian rub (also very good, used that on some lamb chumps last night), Rampant Angus scotch bonnet ketchup and a choice of olive or almond wood chips, £22 delivered. https://www.angusandoink.com/shop/monthly-box-july/

  3. Deflector was EUR 19.90 but shipping was EUR 15.90 so all in came to £32.21.
  4. Recieved my deflector from Germany eventually last week, not had chance to use it yet but looks and feels decent.
  5. It shouldn't be that difficult to get going, I only use 2 wood wools in mine usually. What charcoal are you using, how big are the pieces?
  6. Pizzas done on the Aldi kamado last night, used frozen shop bought dough but will be making some next time.
  7. I have a whetstone, they are quite tricky to use but they do get your knives really sharp. For everyday use I have one of these, pretty decent. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B010O4OCCS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. No need to apologise, glad the hamsters are back on the wheel.
  9. Grill riser/deflector set up in that first video looks great. Second one looks like the one I linked, just ordered one of those ones.
  10. Also found this, supplier has confirmed it fits the Grill Chef mini https://www.wlanthermo-shop.de/grillzubehoer/22/deflektor-kamado-13i-xl
  11. Saw this on Kamado Guru forum as an idea for a deflector https://www.kamadoguru.com/topic/14464-heat-deflector-idea-for-mini/
  12. Whichever kamado you might get the cooking experience is great. They're so versatile, i've done ribs, roasts, grilled stuff and pizzas so far with great results. Awesome at seared steaks, gets super hot and does great pizzas with the right set up. Temps are so easy to maintain once you get dialled in with it, only thing is it's a bugger to get the temp down if you over shoot.
  13. That doesn't look it comes with any accessories, certainly no deflector set up? JTF are still showing limited stock of this one. https://www.jtf.com/la-hacienda-ceramic-egg-kamado-bbq-oven.html
  14. Home Bargains had some in the other week, think they were 5 or 6 quid.
  15. Congratulations @Diggerg. You'll love it, they are great bits of kit.
  16. I had to make a cut through the paper backing to get it to peel off, couldn't do it from the edges. Failing that get some double sided tape on them, they won't be going anywhere once the kamado is sat on them.
  17. I believe it's the same as this one https://www.bbqland.co.uk/charcoal-barbecues/kamado-bbqs/junior-13-grill/landmann-grillchef-mini-kamado-charcoal-bbq.html
  18. Just received some from them yesterday, 15kg mixed box (apple, pear, oak and cherry), £24.50 delivered. Nice sized chunks too, not too big.

    Beercan chicken

Meathead has a good article on this topic, not one for me. https://amazingribs.com/beer-can-chicken
  20. Morrisons one is from the same manufacturer, just a bigger size. Bear in mind you would need to collect one from Morrisons as they only sell in store.
  21. Morrisons are selling the bigger one again, last year it was selected stores only. I think if you contact their CS they should give you a list of stores selling them. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/la-hacienda-kamado-oven-3235859
