Justin
Yes i saw that in lidl the other day, no idea how good it is but the principle is pretty simple so should work fine and under 20 quid?

Justin
you can use any plastic bpa bag. Straw or bit of textured sous vide plastic works.
Raptor72
I have a different one . Didn’t know if anyone was looking for one
Wade
For £20 it must be worth a try if you don't have one already. Although there are ways of using non-textured bags with these side suck units it is best to stick with the textured bags - especially at first until you get to know the unit. tedmus
For vac bag rolls I tend to buy from Nisbets online, they come in a box on a reel with a cutter on the box, very handy. https://www.nisbets.co.uk/vogue-vacuum-pack-roll-with-cutter-box/gf428 Edited April 25, 2019 by tedmus
