  1. I think for that price it is worth it. I have a 37 and it suits me fine for the time being. They aren’t too difficult to use, I messed up on the first three or four times, but practice makes perfect, and there is a lot of help on the forum. The end of the day the two important questions for yourself are: can you afford it? Do you have space for it? If both answers are yes then I would say go for it.
  2. Well After a long walk today I did the steak. Forgot to take any pictures during the cook and the family were So hungry I only managed a snap near the end. As you can see. No complaints.
  3. Nothing Friday as I was working until 2200. Did some chicken breast steaks and corn on cob on the Weber last night. Will be doing some sirloin steak tonight with potato wedges, asparagus, salad and broccoli. Will try to take a pic if I remember.
  4. If I get my briquettes in time. I’m worried I might have to resort to supermarket ones.
  5. Out of stock at the time of this post. I get the feeling that a lot of people are having bbq’s rather than going to restaurants. Not sure why...
  6. It’s a no from me I’m afraid. With any luck next year won’t have the issues of this year.
  7. Just a simple question. What’s the best way to care for the Dutch Oven? Seen a few videos but wanted to check on here as well. 👍
  8. I’ve recently purchased this. Will let you guys know how they go https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SQ2QJ1P/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item
  9. Mate I did the greatest trick the world has ever seen. Convinced her that we need a good Dutch oven for camping. She thought it was a great idea. 😜😇
  10. Same here. We were old school on subscribing here.
  11. Will try my best to join in on this. Currently training for a new job so been pretty busy recently. Done a few pizzas on the bbq, but have only got to use the WSM 4 times since getting it. The wife is starting to question why I got it. Need to think of something to distract her. May have to get something else so she focuses on that 🤔
  12. Hi guys. Hope all are well. Am hoping to jump back into some grilling. Anyone know of any good briquette deals out there. Found a few places out of stock, but guessing some guys here could help.
  13. I just looked on green olive and they are out of lumpwood at the moment, which is frustrating as I have a 50% off code.
  14. What you put there is what I am led to believe. I also found a deal on lumpwood last year so I have about 30kg in my shed. I find that the price of good briquettes quite expensive so I try not to use them for basic cooks.
  15. Hi and welcome to the group. I would say if you had the money go Kamado Joe, but if it’s too expensive then look into the Weber Smokey Mountain or even the ProQ.
  16. I only use lumpwood for quick cooks (pizzas, burgers, skillet cooks, etc). Briquettes I use for long cooks.
  17. Glad your wife is back home safe mate. It’s not an easy time out there. Help people around you if you can, and take care out there. I still have had to travel into London at the moment and I have never seen it as quite as it is. It’s a truly strange time right now.

    Another batch.

I’ve just been able to get a loin from Sainsburys and it’s in the fridge. I tried putting some Italian herbs like you have Ice. Thought I’d see what it’s like.

    BBQ Bread

Hi guys hope everyone is doing well. Has anyone got a good recipe or method for bread cooked on the BBQ? The wife and I were thinking of trying it on a pizza stone but I thought I would see if anyone here had any ideas.
  22. You know. Sadly there are people out there who will make comments like this and mean them. 🙄🙄
