  4. I could not find dust this morning other the the one that came in the box from pro q. So used that, whatever it is. Box performed brilliantly. Gentle wisps of smoke. Perfect performance. I started at 5.30 am and went back to bed. When I got up 10 mins to go full blue skies and bright sun but happily I placed on spot that does not get sun in morning and temp check bang on 20c phew. I was worried it would have gone hotter. The piccie below is a 4 hour burn. Looks like I got it bang on. Followed advice on 4 sides. Thank you
  5. I have just done some cheap mild and some expensive mature and some ref Leicester. Taste taste will provide the evidence 2 weeks mellow from today.
  6. Check pro q website out demo says using the best cheese is not right. The smoke is the best element. You do not always get what you put in.

    I looked at the box they opened for me when i visited earlier this week, the ones I saw looked ok but it is difficult to see when they are frozen, is suppose you are looking for spacing between the ribs and depth. The ones I saw were spareribs not baby back, in yellow box with dragon. They do baby back as well, worth checking when you ask. Anyway will be round at 7 put the beer s on the chiller. lol. Ribs, yummy

  11. Rain due to stop about 6 7pm here so risk of staying dry and cardboard smoke on eek. need a shelter....do not have time to build one yet

  14. interested to see how that works out, for me I think no, no dice, i make do with sharp knife, I just do not slice enough to make it worth having another gadget, it is a good price but not necessary

    the world of is myriad, i was doing research on this and it appears to me only the higher end ones were worth it, anything cheaper is really hard to clean or compromised to frustrate. Gadget like this always boil down to cleaning and as slicing meat this is critical.This is what stopped me, to expensive. And space to store it, my kitchen cupboards are full with things and gadgets from years of collecting and surfaces are kept clear bar the cafetiere and recycling food caddy
