Cherry low smoked rolled brisket. Worth a go?
It is cured first....
Should be easy to make a sponge, mix it up chuck it in at 180 o kettle, fingers crossed, jam an icing sugar, candles, I don t ind giving that a go. I like to make a desert on the bbq. Maybe one of your rellies could help me on that
Yes lovin new member going on the journey. Keep the fires burning through the winter.
I have just picked up a half price 5.5kg gammon form the butchers. nice deal. I have cut into knuckle (in slow cooker) a joint for the Kettle and about 8 steaks.
I will mostly be a doing a gammon winter
Yummy
Excellent. party celebration and cake bake on the bbq. Should be easy enough I made cornbread last time so worth a go. they can cook on mine too if they want I love to share
I think the idea is sat Sunday. One staying over. Wade staying with sister overnight. Overnight smoke. So come along sunday. Chat and enjoy the food. We just need to fix a date.
Understood, Maybe we can meet up Spencer Wade and I were talking of meeting up at one if our houses for a chat and cook. We never finalised it but it is still on the cards, maybe you could make that in a Sat when you are off (i.e the unusual Saturday!)

In Wades Wise Words: All family members are welcome to join us for the evening and also during the day too. When you arrive on Friday night you must all come across and say hi . There is sure to be something cooking Friday night for people to nibble on and we get to know each other over some beer/wine/juice. There are usually AT LEAST a third of the people attending who are new and so you will not be the only ones there for the first time. It was understandable the first time we held one of these meets that our other halves and families were somewhat apprehensive as to what to expect - but I think they actually had more fun watching us rushing around. A glass or two of wine or gin usually does the trick too
