  1. I didn't build it unfortunately. But a local upcycling builder did and their work is excellent. They've made garden furniture for pubs and mud kitchens for schools and nurseries.
  2. Well not so much a shack as more of a prep area. Custom built to fit a specific area as it is a strange shape. Gas struts on the opening front and the cupboard under is bigger as it extends more to the right to follow the fence line. Check out http://salvagestitchrestore.com/ as it's all made from recycled pallets and timber.
  3. Nothing in there other than spiders. All my gear is at work at the moment. ☹️
  4. Yay stainless is here 😎 Off work with chest infection Boooooo I'll update soon as work commences.

  6. Steels turned up at work and now I have to go away for 3 days with work. 😑 Looks like I won't get started til next week now. ☹️
  7. Ordered the steel today so hopefully make a start next week. Stainless for the grill won't be in till the end of next week. Already got my handle and shaft machined up. Can't wait to get crackingπŸ‘¨β€πŸπŸ‘¨β€πŸπŸ‘¨β€πŸπŸ‘¨β€πŸπŸ‘¨β€πŸ

  10. Sadly I still won't be able to make this year. Good luck to those that enter though.
  11. I've just seen that it is going to be held in Colchester castle park this year not maldon.
  12. @Smokin Monkey is there a solid base under the fire bricks? How big is the grill area on yours? The one I'm looking at is 800*400mm BBQ mates aren't a million miles from me so may take a trip and have a look.
  13. Has anyone built one or own one? Looking to build one similar to this. Like the rotisserie over the fire grate.
  14. I'll be using this place. It's literally a 2 minute walk from my house and all livestock is raised on the farm. Plus I like to support local businesses. http://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.beckysbutchers.co.uk%2F&h=AT2Eb-8a-WMssfnDWB3C6-8xTdSMLKAHl9UI52Npmw670T_VaNn9ghhC7gI-WGYX1mrJuzBu8e2crSR_S3aGY4SGAwnr6iinKeVXm-0QZHKRLOZlWWeBfKBjAPaCspFNwg

    Pulled lamb

Made a Moroccan pulled lamb. Ruined over night with Schwartz Moroccan seasoning mixed with olive oil. Smoked until 160Β° then wrapped in butcher paper until 205Β°. Rested for an hour. Made ribs with homemade rub and glazed with sauce shop cherry bourbon sauce. PBBE as well.
