  1. Treated myself to a skillet and Dutch pot as it's a bonus payday. Can't wait to use them
  2. Got the GF upto 325° then was amazed at how much crap the onion removed. Plus the smell was awesome. If you haven't tried definitely give it a go.

    Wings

To be honest much I wouldn't know as it's my first time doing both brining and wings. Let's just say I would be more then happy to brine wings again if they continue to turn out this good.
  4. All done. Only problem was I left it at work Friday so had to use half an onion on a BBQ fork. Forgot pics so I'll post them when I go back tomorrow

    Wings

Managed to get a couple of after shots. These were delicious. Even the wife who is contemplating become veggie said how great and juicy they were.

    Wings

Having my first go at both brining and wings. Brine is 1ltr water with 100g salt 100g soft brown sugar 1/2 onion sliced 1tbsp cider vinegar 1tsp fennel seeds 1tsp mustard seeds. Boil then cool. Going to brine for 2 hrs then smoke at 325° till done. Using lemon pepper as a rub.
  7. I'm just waiting for my cold smoking maze to arrive so I can give cheese a go in it. Just going to stand the maze on the lowest rack

  10. Well that went down well. I'll post a couple is pics soon. I didn't really enjoy mine as I have strep throat and eating is a nightmare 😔 still doesn't stop me cooking.
  11. Chuck and ribs in. Rubbed with SPG. See you in 6 hours for a lunch date. 😋
  12. I have inkbird probes already and several fans so hopefully that would be all it needs. Plus you can run it off a 10000mAh usb bank
  13. I was looking at the BBQ guru cyber cloud but the cost 😮. Then I came across the Wlan thermo nano pro. For 99€ does anyone have any experience with it?
  14. Hi Ice. No I haven't but I know a lot of the tanks use onions rather then bristled brushed. For £3 plus some scrap stainless from work for the handle is got to be worth a go. I'll post a pic when is done.
  15. I saw somewhere on an American site someone who made onion grill cleaners. My plan is to cut this stainless ball in half, add a spike inside at the top then add a handle. Cut onion in half and use the flat to clean the grill. Hopefully work.
  16. Can't wait to do mine. Looks like it'll be going on Friday night then.
  17. This is just round the corner from me too https://www.beckysbutchers.co.uk/
  18. I'm over near Harwich.
  19. Probably not enough 😂😂😂. Not sure to be honest as it's my first go but I'll let you know. It's a 4 1/2 lb joint so probably be about 3 when cooked.
  20. Yeah me too. But it is Angus so hoping it's worth it.
  21. Plus there 2 in each vac pac.
  22. Just arrived. Bit disappointed that the Jacobs ladders are more like short ribs as they've been cut. Chuck looks great though.
