  3. Anyone been this weekend? It's literally 10 minutes up the road from me but did to work and family commitments I can't make it this year. Is it work it? From pictures I've seen so far is seems a bit thin on the ground?
  4. Yeah me and the Oh have 6 children but only 4 live with us as the older 2 have moved out on their own.

  7. Excellent. Let us know how it ages. I've just cleaned my biab setup after 18 months of inactivity. Love a simple one hop beer, let's the hops shine through.. got a bag of pilgrim to try next.
  8. First thing will be a wind shield round the back. NE wind just robs the heat away before it can cook anything. Job for next week

  16. Quick update. All done bar blasting and painting. Got to polish all the stainless too. 😎
  17. Topp bushes welded in. Ratchet pawl made. Quick pigtail steak turner made too. Can't decide weather to use wire or chain for hoist?
  18. Grate and drip tray made. Wouldn't think there's 9 MTRS of stainless angle there 😮
  19. Still undecided whether to put my rotisserie above the main grill or to the side over the brasero
  20. @Smokin Monkey what's the angle of tilt on your grill for the fat run off? 10° enough?
  21. We'll after 3 months off furloughed in back in the shop. 😄 Made a bit of progress the last couple of lunchtimes. Need to machine the liners for the winding gear in the legs and suss out the ratchet lock. Cut stainless bottom for the fire bricks to sit on. Build fire grate in left side. Plate sides. Blast. Paint. Not much left to do 😂😂😂
  22. Opened it up and pleasently surprised. Large bits and a few smaller bits for hot and fast. Most about 4-5 inches thick and 6-7 long. Biggest is the size of my forearm.
