The prob entry port can be made by leaving a thin gap in the tape/rope at the chimney end of the smoker. A lot of us guys use the small gas burners to start a chimney off, up & running in a few mins..I use this one....https://www.amazon.co.uk/Campingaz-Camp-Bistro-Gas-Stove/dp/B000Y854WC/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1J56P4H3W9T92&dchild=1&keywords=gas+stove+camping&qid=1586679679&sprefix=gas+stov%2Caps%2C202&sr=8-5 Ice. 1
