Icefever
We help out at a small campsite..(adults only sorry)....we are thinking that maybe we could sort out a date for spring 2019 for a tailgate??? The site has a large grass section that forms an island, with hard standings around the outside part, a road separates the two. At the moment a site with hookup is only £18....free showers. Unfortunately, there are no pods for those that don't camp, but there are pubs around that do rooms??? I'll post in both West & East sections. Ice. Icefever
The point of having regional sections is to give members in these areas the chance to attend. Some members because of whatever reasons can't or don't like to travel long distances, so by having an event in their region this helps them to attend and enjoy the same pleasure/benefits that others take for granted. Every post is shown in the notification timeline that everyone can see, read & attend if they wish to do so. Organize a tailgate in your area, find a campsite, sort out a date and post on the forum. Ice What ice has said above, this is 100% what the regional groups are about. Like minded people chatting on line, recommending local butchers, Charcoal Suppliers or even a good bargain to be had in a local store. Moving on from that is the social aspect of local groups. Monthly get together over a pint to chat face to face? Then Regional Group Tailgates/Weekends, organised with in the region. All the Regional Groups where set up by me, so I automatically became Group Lead, but what we would ideally like, is local members to take over these rolls and run/moderate THEIR Group. Who’s up for a Group Lead?
Icefever
If I can help I'll be happy to do so Steve, that's if everyone is ok with that. Ice.
Justin
I can do East Anglia if the numbers go up. But alas not. Right. That is easy enough to get to Ice. I will try and make it. Dates allowing
