Skagg2000
I gave into the persistent requests from my lad & knocked up some of the Mac n Cheese stuffed meatballs from the Macs BBQ recipe page. They are always a favourite in our house. On this occasion though I supersized them with large macaroni, a blend of cheeses Cheddar, Gruyere, Edam, Ilchester Mexicana & Shropshire Blue. They were more tennis ball size than golf ball. I was pleased with the outcome, I think the fact they were larger helped prevent the cheese from drying out when smoked. I found the smaller balls would lose some of the creaminess of the cheese. https://www.macsbbq.com/recipes/macncheese_meatballs Cheese n Gone Nick 2

I assume you did the traditional mac n cheese style sauce? A pet peeve of mine is when mac n cheese has no cheese flavour. Phil
