CWC
Well I have not cooked anything in it yet but today I thought I would fire it up for a test to see if I could get the temps something like right. So I filled it up using Webber briquettes put a tin full in the middle of the rack. so far it has been running around 230/240 f for around 5 hours, wondering how long it will go for?? only time will tell
sotv
Looks like you have got a steady cooking temp, from the burn in. Just need to get stuck into the first cook now.

dl8860
8 hours at a good cooking temp on one load of charcoal on your first fire on a small smoker is definitely a win!
Pmurray190
Hi, do you need to fire it up to 'season it'before your first cook? Just assembled mine.
