Been seeing the amazing results that people have using a vortex on the Weber q... being the tight penniless git I am I found a SS bowl in Sainsburys for 3 quid..... nipped the bottom out and poortex it is..... going to do some wings and then drop the plancha on it for some burgers.... will let you know how it goes...

    Real ale man myself, most of the time. I make cider with a friend of mine which is of unknown strength....🤔 We have several cider makers in the village as well as a micro brewery.... chances of being sober round here are zero. I've been known to kill a few bottles of red and port on a Cote de boeuf bbq session...🍷

Hi James, new on here but I have seen a video for doing this on the tube cant find the link sorry.... slit the ripe red jalapenos then smoke for 4 hours.... low temp preferred then they will need dehydrating... if you live somewhere hot easy, shove em in the sun if not you'll need a dehydrator.... et viola dried chipotles. I'm going to be growing some myself this year now I can get in the greenhouse..... #houserebuildstore i bought a big bag of ground chipotle from Firefly BBQ
  5. Thanks sotv I was only in Exmouth the other day..... storm watching 🌊😐 Not tried the crab shack as I have an awkward veggie partner, hates fish... so I have to cook it myself. I'm looking forward to seeing and gleaning lots of advice from you guys...

  9. Hi All from soggy Devon. I've been burning things over fire since I was a cub..... move on 50 years and I'm still doing it but now learning the art of smoking (hot and cold) using my Weber and soon to be UDS. Picked up a couple of drums on my way up country the other week and will get round to converting them when I get a chance. I'm building an outdoor kitchen area from mainly recycled crap....pallets, wriggly tin and old slabs, this will also house a cob oven for pizza and bread... also interested in having a go at charcuterie in the future... I teach people how to sail for my sins and own an old cornish lugger for my stupidity..... Looking forward to getting lots of ideas and inspiration from those with greater knowledge... I'm on CWS and UDS bbq UK on faceache as Tim Sunderland.
