Wade
Yes it looks good and it has a lot of features that are only available in the high end Webers. Even from the other videos on YouTube I cannot see what the air vents consist of but it looks like is is a good option to consider.
Icefever
We looked at a 57cm Webber at our garden centre...if I remember it was around £250/300.....this one at £175 may be a good alternative one and save money?? Ice.
Justin
Depends on build quality. I has lots of nice features but my Weber kettle has lasted 20 years and is still going strong with no rust or anything like that.
Icefever
This is the tipping point....not being able to see one in the flesh so to say. We're not in the market at the moment spent enough this year. ?
Wade
My 19 year old Weber bit the dust at Woodsmoke 18 ? Date code "EE" - 1999 and those lovely hickory handles
Justin
I think mine must be 15 years old then, my memory is blurry ! You could repair mate, just some legs needed with brace, easy to just screw some brackets on and some legs into bracket then brace the legs?? Polish up the vents with dremel or something like that? sand with dremel and varnish the handles. 2nd life. I can bring my dremel kit to 1st northern n tailgate if you want to have a bash...little project?
Icefever
Talking it over with my better half last night and we're going to keep an eye on the price of this kettle come Autumn. They may want to clear some stock...you never know. ?
