I've never seen or heard of these until I started on here,  putting out a search yesterday I found them on Amazon .....https://www.amazon.co.uk/Heat-Beads-Easy-Lite-BBQ-Fuel/dp/B005F3XCBG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1531634089&sr=8-3&keywords=heat+beads+bbq

Thinking hhhmmm  £12.25,  wonder how far they will go?? 4kg??

Decided (as is my whim these days)  to have another look elsewhere...found these...https://www.bbqworld.co.uk/heat-beads/australian-heat-beads-4kg-bag.asp

£6.95 Wow, that'll do me, that was until you add £5 p&p,  you just can't win some days..  ?

£12.25 is outrageous for a 4Kg bag of Heat Beads. I buy mine from either BBQ World or WOWBBQ. The 10 Kg bags are even better value.

If you are cooking low-and-slow you will be hard pressed to find a charcoal briquette that is more efficient than the Heat Beads. A little more expensive to buy but they last a lot longer so work out cheaper.
