Recommend a slicer for Bacon slicing

Hi fellow forumites,

 

I've got 10 kg of bacon that will be ready for slicing in the next 7 days or so. Hand cut ends up with rashers that are a little to generous. Can anyone recommend / have for sale a slicer to do the job cost effectively?

There are two things that you need to do to stop this

  1. Chill the bacon slab before you slice
  2. Make the thickness of the slice a little thicker - increase the thickness by 1/2 a point until it no longer produces any "tails".

It goes without saying that you need to ensure the blade is sharp :thumb1:
