Smokin Monkey
Posting with the permission of John Horton, who made this heat deflector. Ok guys so I brought the Lidl (Landman) mini Kamado today but it didn’t come with a heat diffuser. Obviously if you want to smoke anything slowly which is the point of a insulated BBQ like this your going to need one. So I have made on with an old £3 pizza stone I got in Morrisons and a stainless steel rack that came with our microwave oven which we never use. The feet on the rack actually lock in to the grill so it can’t turn or slip.

tedmus
I would say so yes, doesn't look like much room left for enough charcoal for a significant burn?
