James Hocking
Morning All! I'm looking to start smoking in the coming weeks, Wade's reviews of the Callow have lead me here! I'm a Furniture manager at a local Garden centre, which means at this time of year all I do is build BBQ's! I'm definitely in the mood to get the grill/smoke season started! I do have question about grill seasoning (what is it!?), if someone could point me in the direction of a one stop seasoning shop! Any first timer recipes are also more than welcome! Cheers, James Edited January 20, 2019 by James Hocking
Justin
Welcome aboard. Re season at home there is not one. I do all year round. Re events the first is the Anglia and Southeast Tailgate in May.

Hi James, I think your question is how to Season your new grill. Just burn it in at a high temperature to get rid of any manufacturing oil etc that may be on the surface. You can also spray all parts with a fine mist with vegetable oil. Second part, Seasonings, we refer to it as Rubs & Marinades. You can find a lot of homemade Rubs on line, but a good source of ready made Rubs is Angus & Oink
James Hocking
Thanks for the info! The whole question was relating to a new grill I’ll get that done once I’ve ordered and taken delivery of my callow!
