vk2003
I’ve just put together my new KJ Classic II, and am slightly peturbed to see small gaps between each of the segments. They do all overlap, and the metal ring does appear to be seating correctly. Are these just expansion spaces, or am I making an error somewhere? pittmab
Looks good to me, as long as the metal ring is seated correctly should be fine.
AdamG
looks correct to me. As you say, I reckon it will be to allow for expansion from the heat👍

TheFifeFlyer
I saw a video where a guy used scrunched up little balls of tissue paper as packers at the back of the plates, to line the tops up with the ring, perfectly.

I ended up using pieces of cardboard. Once all the plates were in place, they were pulled out (having left them protruding)
