Scott T
Hello all. I've seen in many YouTube videos people have made their own steel charcoal boxes for offset smokers. Has anyone here ever made their own and have any tips? I've used my offset smoker 3 times now, 1st time was seasoning and the charcoal grill grate looks like it's suffering. I have the Cosmo xxl smoker 90kg Cheers 🍻 Edited May 13, 2020 by Scott T
Icefever
Hi... what about buying a small sheet of perforated steel, then cut the corners and fold into a square basket to fit the smoker?? Ice.

Scott T
To be honest I can't fault the smoker. Used it several times now and done the best ribs and pork shoulder I have ever had! It is well made and once assembled it does actually weigh 90kg (14 stone).
