Greetings fellow BBQ-natics,

Weather (in the SE) forecast this weekend meant to be quite sunny.  Any BBQ-ing plans? Placed an order from Turner George for some pork & beef ribs.

Most of the rubs I've been using involve sugar (lots) and paprika. Anyone considered something more simple? Just salt & black pepper?

if you have got good meat, s+p is all you need, i think we all tend to automatically reach for a rub when a good simple seasoned piece of meat takes some beating.

Agreed. These days I generally stick with a simple SPG rub
