  1. I think for that price it is worth it. I have a 37 and it suits me fine for the time being. They aren’t too difficult to use, I messed up on the first three or four times, but practice makes perfect, and there is a lot of help on the forum.

The end of the day the two important questions for yourself are: can you afford it? Do you have space for it? If both answers are yes then I would say go for it.

  2. Nothing Friday as I was working until 2200. Did some chicken breast steaks and corn on cob on the Weber last night.
Will be doing some sirloin steak tonight with potato wedges, asparagus, salad and broccoli. Will try to take a pic if I remember.

    Ice.

Mate I did the greatest trick the world has ever seen. Convinced her that we need a good Dutch oven for camping. She thought it was a great idea. 😜😇

  4. Will try my best to join in on this. Currently training for a new job so been pretty busy recently. Done a few pizzas on the bbq, but have only got to use the WSM 4 times since getting it. The wife is starting to question why I got it. Need to think of something to distract her. May have to get something else so she focuses on that 🤔

Is that the key difference between the two, Simon?

What I've read here seems to suggest:

    - Lumpwood - high heat, burns hotter but for less time

    - Briquettes - burns cooler but for much longer

What you put there is what I am led to believe. I also found a deal on lumpwood last year so I have about 30kg in my shed. I find that the price of good briquettes quite expensive so I try not to use them for basic cooks.

My wife is finally home after a week in hospital with it.  Continuously pumped full of antibiotics and other meds. Managed to avoid intensive care but they did go and see her 3 times, thats how bad she was. She says she could only describe it as a war zone. She had to watch 3 other women on her ward die alone as noone is allowed to visit. Sad times but am forever grateful to the NHS.

Glad your wife is back home safe mate. It’s not an easy time out there. Help people around you if you can, and take care out there. I still have had to travel into London at the moment and I have never seen it as quite as it is. It’s a truly strange time right now.

  7. I’ve just been able to get a loin from Sainsburys and it’s in the fridge. I tried putting some Italian herbs like you have Ice. Thought I’d see what it’s like.

  8. Hi guys hope everyone is doing well.
Has anyone got a good recipe or method for bread cooked on the BBQ? The wife and I were thinking of trying it on a pizza stone but I thought I would see if anyone here had any ideas.

Matt Hancock has just told Sophy Ridge on Sky news that sunbathing is not allowed....??????? how do you think that one will be enforced??  coppers going around and slapping a ticket on someone's naked backside?😂😂
