Wade
I have been giving the smokery a bit of a clean out and came across my Meater + Thermometer. I bought it a couple of years ago but unfortunately, even though it was probably the most expensive thermometer I had bought, it turned out to be one of the shortest lived. If I recall correctly, it cost me ~£100 and, even though it was used following the instructions regarding the probe line, it lasted me a grand total 4 cooks before it died. That works out at £25 per cook - more expensive than the meat!! Today it has been sent to that broken thermometer resting place in the sky...
Justin
Really? Mine gets used a lot and keeps going. Is it not charging?
Wade
No it isnt charging - despite several changes of batteries in the vain hope it would miraculously revive itself
