I am waiting for 1000w inverter to turn up have bought 10w solar panel (no risk of overcharging) from eco worhty and a 44aH car battery. Will be ready to go mobile, At SOTW the pellet grills were tripping the electrics!

Yes. I am thing 300w inverter and a car battery. Ranger needs just under 300w on start up and then ticks along at about 50w. Then a solar trickle feed.

Its is a good idea. Nice to have a solar charger panel too. I am saving up.

Welcome, nice for you to join. I watched you video, nice metal work and welding. I think maybe you can look at some stove rope or such to seal the smoker you have built, looking forward to seeing your further adventures

Spare Rib Chops. Apple pellet.
2 1/2 hours at 80 c rising to 107 for last half hourSauce shop original BBQ rub and Sauce. Sauce for last 20 mins
So easy to do.
Served with a simple salad and mayonnaise, Home grown cherry tomatoes, Smoked the tomatoes (also home grown) alongside the pork for the full 2 1/2 hours. They were delicious.

Also I recommend you do shoulder of lamb, it is more rewarding when bbqing, especially if going low and slo

Nice work mate, success. That blue bag lumpwood is very good, I find it gives a nice flavour too, especially on pork chops or something like that.

When I sous vide steak, I get a skillet on hob to finish hit off, put some butter in and swirl the steaks around to stop it burning each side about 20 secs each side. easy peasey

No northern tailgate has been arranged......my September is real busy too but if it were on I would do my best to be there
