AdamG Posted November 13, 2022 Share Posted November 13, 2022 Earlier in the week I decided to have another attempt at a smoked cheesecake. The first attempt had a delicious flavour although not quite the right texture. I also made a sauce to go with it this time. Ingredients for the treacle sauce, ingredients for the base and ingredients for the filling. Base ingredients mixed together kamado preheated to 200C and the base baked for 10 mins. The filling ingredients are mixed together cheesecake baked for about 40 mins at 170C, smoked with applewood and looks great... and then collapsed down🤔. Next time I might leave the cheesecake in the kamado while it cools down and hopefully it wont collapse as much (either that or bake at a lower temp) Looks like a yorkshire pudding haha Sauce ingredients added and blended together The best bit The first time I tried this out of curiosity and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the smoke and sweetness went together.
