Johnlfc
So I have built the gas BBQ. Got the correct gas bottle (Blue Butane) 20mm clip on connector and hose so all ready to go. One thing that is slightly worrying me though is the gas connections on the actual barbecue. The way the internal burner connected to the gas output seemed a little odd to me. The internal part just slipped over the gas outputs with slots either side of the pipe. In my mind I cant work out how the gas just doesn't leak out from here? Am I missing something or is this normal? I guess I will soon find out when I light the thing up 😳 Edited April 18, 2019 by Johnlfc
Smokin Monkey
I am sure this is where the air is mixed with the gas.
Johnlfc
Yeah to be fair I've been chatting in the office and the general feeling was this is how it would work. I just had a picture of gas coming out of the vent holes and burning beneath the bbq 🤣
