What is everyone using to clear out the ash?

Thanks i ordered one from the a link in the ‘Budget Kamado’ group on Facebook. It’s the steel smoking deflector. Managed to pick one up today. Got to Lidl at around 830 and there were four in stock. Ordered a deflector plate and will be firing it up next week due to fasting at the moment. Can’t wait!

Thanks for the link. i am guessing the below would work then steel deflector plate posted earlier with the pizza stone directly on top?

Hi all Just saw the lidl offer online and it is perfect timing for me as I was looking to a kamado. I think it would be best to start small but I have a few queries about the lidl version because I do wish to make pizza on the kamado. Has anyone done this yet? if so what was your set up? Thanks!
