The thing is weber sent an email saying the chute was fixed before it hit the UK, if that was the case why have they made a welded version and sending it to them in the states because if ours is ok why not send this one

If I use GMG or Lil Devils I can't get to 600F. It's only if I use weber pellets I get to 600F and then it takes over 45 mins.

Wot pellets did you use

With your GMG gold pellets wot temp can you get to? I can only get around 525F with them it won't go any hotter, but my SF is not playing right getting to any temp takes way to long. Bag pellets turned up Tuesday and controller today. I'v fitted it and now it's connected to the app, at to delete and reinstall though. The knob as a different feel to it when it's turned. It still takes over 45 mins to 600F and from 225F to 600F was 31 mins. Is anybody else having any temp issue ? I read on another forum it's taking 14-16 mins to 600F with the welded chute. Is anybody else getting to temp that quick ?

Thats all i've got now. The app says it's connected to wifi though. Took over 30mins to get to 225f today. looking forward to the new controller.

let us no wot pellets you get through. Sounds like your in for a good weekend and you should have the weather for it.

I spoke to weber the other day, he said it should only take 8-12 mins to get from 225F to 600F. Mine takes over 25 mins. It does chew through pellets though, a lot more than my old GMG I've got some GMG and Lill's levels pellets I won't to try, have done a bit but not a fair test as my grill is not working properly.

yep it as. I was a bit disappointed with the pellet sensor as there is no audile sound, so if don't look at screen or in the hopper you won't no. I've also asked weber about this.

Here's wot weber as just told me I will sort out a replacement controller to be sent out to you along with some pellets as a gesture of goodwill. Customers are only receiving replacement welded chutes if their current one is faulty or having issues on their grill. If you are not experiencing this issue with yours then we will not replace. The US released the model a month before we did so we managed to solve the issue in the UK market before releasing here. I have just arranged for a replacement part to be sent through to you today under warranty. Unfortunately, this part is out of stock till 8th April but once back in stock this should arrive within 2-3 working days. The courier will be DPD and you will be contacted with your scheduled delivery, once they have labelled your package. Please do let me know if you need anything else in the meantime, or if you have any trouble with delivery.Happy grilling! Funny that, as Trendkill BBQ (youtube) fitted a new chute the other day, which would have thought is the new one we have. Then some one told him there was now a welded version, got in touch with weber and now there sending that to him. So I'll wait and see if the controller sorts my temp issue out.

Mine too will email in the morning and see wot they say Glad yours get gets to that quick, hopefully mine will with a new controller . Really won't to do brisket, but not with how this is at the moment
