Composition of Pine (softwood) charcoal

Recommended Posts

Hello!, I would like to ask for some data that I though it would be easy to find, but I can't find it anywhere so far. My question is, whats the typycal composition of softwood charcoal?, precisely Pine charcoal (it's ash content, fixed carbon, etc...). The data would help me a lot since I'm making of a charcoal production proyect. Thanks!

Don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of softwood charcoal, is it even a thing. I always thought pine was considered a terrible wood to cook with as it has such a high resin content.
