    Thank you, that's a good point. I do have a couple of unused terracotta dishes like someone else mentioned about - i might give that a go and see how i get on. If not, i'll get one ordered.

    Hi mate and thanks for your warm welcome. I do bbq already but the world of kamado is brand new to me. i will give it a go this weekend and see how i get on. think i'll start with a chicken..

    hi everyone, picked one of these up this morning. any signs of damage i should be looking for just in case? i looked on the inside with everything emptied out and it doesn't look like there's any issues, same with the exterior. looking forward to getting going this weekend, is there any dummies guides available?
