  1. @MarkG av got it set up and fired up just nervous on cranking it up incase anything happens i have been told by warranty team any cracks wont be replaced or refunded, also the fire box does not sit flat and is rather annoying, i feel as i am new to the bbq’ing world really i may of jumped in head first into something a little to advanced to start, i found the master touch premium looks like a nice bit of kit with a good few features that i could practice with and also use it as a standard bbq if required, also the size i like the look of something a bit bigger. Don't get me wrong i love the look of the kamado and the videos of some food i have watched looks amazing. just in 2 minds really going to have another play tonight and see. @Airtime0007 @Ferdi thanks for the reply's
  2. How is everyone getting on with there aldi kamado ? I have been having second thoughts and am questioning looking into sending it back and getting a weber master touch premium anyone got one or got any input on one ?
  3. I have seen there 60 days refund advertised but i thought it says as long as its in new condition. Anyway i have fired mine up again all looks ok. Although i have found this if anyone in interested costco £600 24” grill looks great and costco warranty is brilliant. Am going to go my local costco and take a look.   4. So just found this online from a retailer for La Hacienda this is the same other than the colour. I woudnt be happy to of paid £600
  5. @MarkG sounds good mark but what do you think they will say if it cracks ? I fired mine up last night to about 200 celsius to see if the crack on the inside changed, am going to give the warranty team a call today and actually ask them what they cover as if the ceramic isn't covered what is the frame and side shelves !! Also the outside of my ceramic got pretty hot i thought they didn't get that hot on the outside.?? Am new so could be wrong just thought i read they didnt.
  6. @MarkG you done well i pushed for £50 but he said no its 10% max obviously he lied hah am concerned as i have a small crack if it goes will they say it was my fault ?? It looks so small i cant see it as the ceramic is pretty thick.
  7. So got mine built and really impressed it looks great l, i have found that my firebox doesn't sit flush to the base so my cooking grate wobbles but ill fix that with a little fire cement on the low spot of the fire box.
  8. @MarkG hi mark what a shame, looks like so many must be having the same issue. I called 0800 042 0800 as i said though i rang 3 times and it took a long time to answer There hours are 8am-8pm let us know what they say.

So have just got off the phone to aldi, first off i had phoned 3 times through the day and waited 20 minutes twice then the last time they answered at 24 minutes in that was annoying but they have advised me of 2 options return the product for full refund as they are now completely out of stock or accept a £35 good will gesture and they will uphold the 3 year warranty i don't want to send it back so have accepted the £35 and going to put it together tonight. I was advised they wont be back on sale this year, i did advise him i had spoke with la hacienda and told him what they said and he said oh right maybe they have no stock either. Not really sure what they will do in a warranty claim but hopefully wont have that issue.
  10. Update on my issue i emailed La Hacienda and got the following response “Hi, Thank you for your email.We are the aftercare sales for spare parts. If your product is faulty we would require you to go back to Aldi on 0800 042 0800.Thank you. Kind regards, Samantha Samantha TozerOffice Administrator” i have a feeling this could be as they are getting more and more complaints. I am still awaiting a response from aldi so am going to follow this up with a phone call today. Its just frustrating that aldi will be up to 10 days for delivery i am itching to get mine fired up and starting learning and cooking!!

Hi @tedmus, @Cureiousjan, @Airtime0007 Thanks for the replys so quick, i have contacted both aldi and la hacienda although i couldn't find a direct email for La hacienda so i have gone through there were they have a feedback section Does anyone think with the damage to mine it could cause the pot to fail in the future ? I probably could live with it as long as they gave a partial refund and upheld the warranty do you think they would do that ? Thanks all
  12. hi all new to the forum and have came across this as I have bought a Aldi Kamado and was looking for info using it as I am completely new to the Kamado style BBQ I unboxed mine yesterday and have a cosmetic issue and was after some advice on wether I should contact Aldi or not see attached pictures and give me some thoughts, I have not put it together yet as the weather has been rubbish but am thinking of contacting Aldi as the mark is right where the handle is going to go and I feel it will bother me plus there is also a slight crack on the inside not sure if this kind of thing is normal or if this could turn into something worse. and then the top lid slightly overhangs the bottom am not sure if this is meant to be like this, any comments appreciated

Hi All just bought my First Kamado and looking to get into a bit of more serious BBQ'ing, got the Aldi Kamado as it looks a great piece of kit with a lower price tag than some others, have came across this site and found lots if info which is very helpful and sure ill be needing some help in the future. thanks Liam
