DaddyManky
Hi, I have built an asador style bbq. I deliberately did not include a grid for coals, or any venting, as this is generally not used in videos I see from Spain/Argentina. I don't burn wood, but good quality charcoal. However, my coals do not burn happily and will readiliy go out. Any ideas as to what I could do to improve the burn? In Argentina, they appear to have no difficulty having embers/coals direct on the fire bricks.
bbqman
Hey mate, Without a photo is hard to know but, my guess would be for you to use a different space to burn you coals or to try to use a chimney starter? In case you don't know what it is I leave you a link below with a weber one. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009IH0ICG?tag=bestbbquk-21&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=
