Got there eventually. Water or no water,vents open or closed and beads or not? It's a day for learning.  Not the best temperature outdoors for doing it but we got there 

Bottom vents fully open but struggling to  reach 220. Too cold and breezy to be doing this. Where did summer go 😟

Well as a trial I'm trying a wee chicken this morning . Could be a disaster but every day is a school day. And its snowing 😟

Another newbie question sorry. When using the water pan do folk use hot or cold water to start?  I'm sorry it seems such a daft question 🤡

Yes it was a wee drop of the easy light I had lying around.  Never again.

I checked with a new digi probe and it looked maybe 5 degrees out. First time I've used heat beeds for anything and impressed with their lack of smoke but long lasting heat

First born tonight. Used half chimney of heat beads with some cheap lump charcoal which unfortunately stinks. Been on without the water pan for around an hour The temperature gauge seems reasonably accurate . Might try actually cooking at the weekend.  Weather here in Scotland isn't the best at the moment 😆

Well Ive taken delivery and built it up. Can anyone advise the best way to do the first burn? Sorry for all my questions

well strangely the price went up 21 quid overnight but I've taken the plunge  and ordered one.

Many thanks folks. £164 seemed a good deal considering other sellers are between 3- £400 for the same item. I'm waiting to hear from the seller.  Thanks again.  

Anyone had experience with these?  Totally new to the idea of smoking and planning on buying one. Ive seen the Razzo 18 on eBay for 164 which is less than other sellers. Any advice would be great thanks.
