honakerdave
Basically I have a small hot smoker cabinet I build based on youtube/online plans that of course all come from the states. (pic below, it has a roof now) And for the life of me I cant get it above 100c every American source I can find says it should work with the hotplate I have in there and the second one I've tried (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08NHFNM23/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but it doesn's so I'm stumped.... I wonder if there it's a uk/eu safty thing that keeps it from overheating???? Any tips for modifications or products for a fix. All walls are at least 5 cm thick and very insulative. The air/vent holes are small and mostly covered sooo I dont think it's that. I've run it empty and so I know I"m not just overfilling it. Ummmm I think thats it. Thanks in advance dave Edited April 26, 2022 by honakerdave
Icefever
I'm a little unsure of what you're after temp wise?? how hot do you want??. What are you smoking? are you using dust, chips,?? or are you just using it to cook? I'm wondering if you would be better buying a bullett smoker? Ice.
