Justin
Thank you to all that helped me. Some great dishes. Particularly to Adam and Lynne there is mention of a Christmas one in Wales.....i know the discussion is tending to November next year but why not this year. Late November......can we organise it turkey and Christmas pudding. A celebration for the year?

Justin
Worth enquiring. I can not imagine it will be busy on November. Idea, what about renting a big house and having comfort and bbq? We can share the cost. Something with lots of bedrooms?
Adman
Thank you all for a fantastic weekend. Fabulous food and we both learned a lot! We will definitely be cooking at the next event, whenever that is. I would book billing this week but Lynne has just made me buy a cowboy stove (thanks Steve) so it will have to be next week! Our son Max has just had all of the food that we brought home and says you guys really can cook! Thanks again.

Good to see the kinky chicken cooker making an appearance, how did it get on this time?

Managed to get it Cooked this time. Had a few trials with it at home and found I needed a lot more heat source. Banked it up with Heat Beads an cooked a Large Chicken in 2.5 Hours. Excellent, that's great to hear, looks very impressive (and a bit disturbing) when it's cooking

jockaneezer
A bit late with my thanks to all who provided a grand feast but we stayed an extra day at Holme Valley, then had a few more days away Oop North. I posted a few pics on the Motorhomefun website and they were well received, with a couple saying they were going to check out the Woodsmoke forum. Can't beat spreading the love ! Val enjoyed her first Fatty and now I've got one on my to do list and I've been told to check out a sous vide setup too, I can see what I'll be getting for Christmas !

One of my enduring memories of the northern tailgate that and the heston Bloomingheck scales ocd measuring of flour and sugar for the cornbread! not to mention the 5 sous chefs industrially working away. Defo stepping back a bit next time but i did enjoy the corn bread and bruschettas
