Phlashster
Welcome Nathan, Loads of good information on here. Ask *all* the questions, especially the silly ones. There is a great bunch of folk on here who are more than happy to help. Think about what it is that you want to cook and in what styles. That will help you figure our which kit to be looking at. Phil.

NathanP
Everyone has been really welcoming, so thank you all. As I have been encouraged to ask questions, my first would have to be, kamado, offset, kettle, pellet, electric or gas?

hoogl
Nathan. Bullet style smokers are a great starting place. Any smoker is a good smoker IMO.
NathanP
I was having a look at the some offset models, but a lot of them don't seem to be available in the UK. Can the bullet smokers be used for cold smoking as well
hoogl
Hi Nathan, Absolutely I have the 22"/57cm WSM and purchased the ProQ Cold Smoke Generator. I was able to smoke over 5kg of cheese in one go and about 500g of salt after. I still have one pack of the Cheddar and Gouda Left. My Mrs eats the salt with every meal 😋
Smokin Monkey
Bullet Smokers are the ideal tool for cold smoking, just need to get a cold smoke generator like, AMNPS Pellet Smoker
