Setting 240 Seconds D= Derivative Value. Setting 60 Seconds CF= Temperature Scale. Centigrade or Fahrenheit Pb= Probe Calibration. + - to adjust. I'm assuming it's to do with the frequency of polling the probe and how the fan reacts etc. How do you calibrate the probe? It samples the temperature at the probe, at set intervals, if it took to many samples in a short period of time, the display (and control) would be very erratic.Lind of smooths it out. Calibrate in boiling water, but do not submerge the probe, only 25mm. If water gets in the crimped end, 90% of the time it will fail.
