Smokin Monkey
Kraft Paper? Where do you get this from?
Mick
Widely available, its just packing paper, I think kraft is a German word for strong
Martyn Catanach
Is it like the tracing paper we used to have in the loos at school back in the 70's, that would have worked a treat

Mick
Butcher paper is Kraft paper, not sure if my roll is deemed food safe but been using it for years, it's simple packaging paper, light brown Edited September 30, 2017 by Mick
Wade
Kraft paper is made mostly from recycled materials which uses a lot of potentially unsafe chemicals in the recycling process. Unless the roll you have states that it is food safe you should really assume that it isn't. However, as Kraft paper is widely used in schools with all ages of children it is unlikely to do you harm. I would avoid using it in direct contact with wet/damp food though where the juices could leach out material from the paper.
Mick
Thanks Wade, so I suppose butchers paper is just kraft paper deemed food safe
