Hi Everyone. I have recently bought the Aldi Kamado and have been experimenting and, so far very happy with the results. I have had an accident with the ceramic heat deflector which is now in several pieces and I have been able to get a replacement made from 5mm steel. My question is... will steel do the same job as a ceramic heat deflector?. Hope someone can give me advice, thanks in anticipation.. John.
