    I've had one of these for years https://www.amazon.co.uk/Revel-CCM104CH-Wet-Dry-Grinder/dp/B004LS43BY?th=1 There's a few stories of people saying that it rounded out the drive gear (it IS plastic but still) but I think that may just be from overloading it? Anyhoo, it grinds peppercorns just fine. And fresh herbs etc. Because the grind compartment is sealed you can actually use it to blend small batches of paste/marinade etc.

    Some bargains to be had in Homebase, although they do seem to be clearing the big stuff out completely.

    Nice! I'm a sourdough guy myself but I do enjoy a good, quick loaf from time to time!

    I love some Ancho! I used to be a massive chilli head, all about the heat. These days it's much more about the flavour. When I make a chilli I use whole, dried chillies that I toast and then grind, usually a blend of Ancho, New Mex and chipotle with fresh jalapeno added for a bit of bite.
