    Here's my baby...damn she's Ugly......But what a great cook. 45 Gallon Drum. Burnt out originally and then painted. However the affects of time have created a patina that any BBQ would be proud of. Basket was made from some Stainless mesh bought from Homebase. Works really well. Need to add some additional ventilation as Its great for a long low and slow but struggles to get up to tems for a hotter roast.....Enjoy

    Well hello Woodsmoke Forum. I'm new here - have loved BBQ and especially Texas Low and Slow for a number of years having visited Texas with work. Been to many joints in and around Austin including the Salt Lick...one of my faves! Never made it to Franklins though. May be another day... Cheers and Hello from Jonathan B
