Where does everyone get their charcoal from? I'm looking for something different/better than the usual stuff on offer at local garden centres etc. I've typically used briquettes in the kettle but recently got the Aldi Kamado so looking to stock up on some good lump wood, any recommended suppliers or sources?

Mine arrived today with a blemish in a similar location and it hadn't quiet broken out into a full chip, I would have been 50/50 about returning or repairing it, but there were also two large chips on the lid lip so I have arranged for it to be picked up and replaced. As mentioned above the packaging is fairly substantial so suspect its been transported or dropped on its side, judging by the unique packing going on in the delivery van it really could be either.

Looks like Aldi will have their Kamado's back this year: https://www.aldi.co.uk/garden-shop/kamado-bbq I hesitated last year and missed out on this deal (and the larger Morrisons instore deal) so I've added this to my calendar this year! I trust those who got them last year have no regrets? Been toying with the idea of a Kamado for sometime and the £350, although still not cheap, feels more palatable than £500+ if its not for me. Slightly concerned its too small, although as far as I can tell its a touch smaller than my trusty Weber kettle 47 which has been big enough to date..
