Morning. Has anyone tired smoking with Greengage wood. It looks similar to cherry but unsure it that's where the similarities end?

Morning, new to the forum but been smoking a few years. Had a search for threads on different words to use but not found one. We generally use cherry or whiskey Oak depending on what we're cooking. I've just acquired some cherry and greengage. I've searched for greengage but can find nothing on it for burning either on the log burner or smoker? Anyone have knowledge? The two are mixed so I need to try and. Separate some how
