Bavette Steak

Not been able to BBQ this BH as I have been away in “Not as Sunny as here, Tenerife!”
Beggars can not be chose, so two Bavette Steaks for Mr Morrison, cooked medium rear, about 2.5 minuets per side, wrapped and allowed to rest for 20 minuets. Served with some green stuff.

Cooked this cut for the first time today, marinated and done on the afterburner just under 3 minutes either side, coating with melted butter during the cook, which helped with the sear.. Very tasty. flavoursome cut of meat. Thought it would be a chewy cut, but it is very tender and one i will definitely buy again.

After eating 350g of steak today, think it will have to be a salad tomorrow. 😁
